Utah football has extended their series with Weber state on August 31st, 2023. Utah has also added a home and home series with Houston. Utah will go to Houston on September 5th, 2026 and Houston will travel to Salt Lake on September 11th, 2027.

These football series make a ton of sense for Utah. The games against Weber save the University hundreds of thousands of dollars in travel costs and allow Utah to tune up their game plans for future opponents. Not to mention the trick plays you can sample to find out which you may want to use later on in the season. Houston is in 8th biggest market in the country. The majority of college football recruits come from California, Florida or Texas so this match up with the Cougars will allow Utah to meet and greet with recruits and their families without taking an official visit.
