Jayce Johnson transferring to Marquette

Former four star recruit and University of Utah center Jayce Johnson has found a landing spot for his final year of play during his college basketball career. Johnson, who announced after his junior year at Utah that he would put his name in the transfer portal appears to have landed at Marquette.

The Utes will fill the minutes of Johnson with Lahat Thioune who missed all of last season with a foot injury and Riley Battin who had and up and down freshman season. This morning, the Utes also announced the addition of juco transfer Alfonso Plummer from Arizona Western College.
