The Utah Jazz have traded to acquire veteran forward/center Boris Diaw, according to multiple media reports. Utah traded the draft rights to 2015 second-round pick Olivier Hanlan to the San Antonio Spurs. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports’ The Vertical reported the story first.

Diaw has played in the NBA for 13 seasons with Atlanta, Phoenix, Charlotte, and most recently, San Antonio. He has averaged 8.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game over his career. While with the Spurs, he shot 50.8% from the floor, including 36.7% from three-point range.

Hanlan participated with the Utah Jazz Summer League team in 2015, and signed with Lithuania’s Zalgiris Kaunas for the 2015-16 season, where he averaged 8 points per game.

Diaw is the third veteran player the Jazz have acquired since late June, adding to acquisitions George Hill and Joe Johnson. Diaw is set to make $7 million for the 2016-17 season, and has a non-guaranteed amount of $7.5 million for 2017-18 on his deal.

Andy Larsen of Salt City Hoops (Thursdays 7-9pm on ESPN 700) projected the 2016-17 Jazz lineup:
