Utah Jazz Look To Bounce Back Tonight Against The Washington Wizards

The Utah Jazz (29-35) are in action tonight as they welcome in the Washington Wizards (30-33) to Vivint Smart Home Arena at 7:00 PM.  The Jazz are looking to get back on the winning side after falling on the road to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.  The Wizards come into the game losers of 3-straight.  Both teams are fighting to make the playoffs in their respective conferences.  The Wizards are currently 10th in the East, 2.5 games out of the 8th spot.  The Jazz are in the 9th spot as they trail the Houston Rockets (32-32) by 3 games for the 8th seed in the West.

Utah Jazz Head Coach Quin Snyder talked with the media following shoot around.  Here is that audio:

Rodney Hood is listed as questionable with low back soreness.  He missed Wednesday’s game due to the injury.  He said it is something he has been dealing with for about a month.  He said he feels better, it’s just a matter of how everything feels at time.  Here is the audio of Rodney Hood with the media after shoot around:

The Utah Jazz fell on the road to the Washington Wizards on February 18 in Washington 103-89.  It was the first game for both teams after the all-star break.  Gordon Hayward will again be a big factor for the Jazz tonight if they want to be successful.  He is scoring 20.0 points per game and 3.7 assists per game, both stats lead the team.  He knows that during tonight’s game they can’t turn the ball over.  They need to hang onto the ball, they can’t give the Wizards easy chances.  This is definitely a must-win for the Jazz tonight if they want to stay close to making the playoffs.  Here is Gordon Hayward with the media after shoot around:
