Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz fell to the Memphis Grizzlies in their season opener which doubled as Ja Morant’s return to the court. Morant looked like his old self in limited minutes scoring 22 points and dishing out 10 assists. Lauri Markkanen showed he’s still the Jazz’s unquestioned star with a game high 35 points on just 15 shots including multiple acrobatic alley oop dunks. 2nd year forward Taylor Hendricks shook off a quiet 1st half to score 12 points in the 2nd half.
