Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers Square Off Tonight

The Utah Jazz (2-1) continue their 7-game preseason schedule tonight at EnergySolutions Arena as they take on the Portland Trail Blazers in their first home game of the preseason at 7:00 PM.  The Blazers come into the game with a record of 1-2.

The Jazz won their first two games in Hawaii against the Los Angles Lakers but dropped their last one Friday night against the Phoenix Suns 101-85 in a game that both Joe Ingles and Trey Burke did not play.

This is another chance for Raul Neto to continue to progress as he continues to develop his offensive game.  He has played well defensively to this point as he is not afraid to hit the floor or attack his opponent.  He is always trying to get the ball out.  It has been fun to watch him so far this preseason.  Here is Raul Neto with the media following shoot around today:

Trey Lyles will be able to play in front of the home crowd for the first time tonight in preseason play.  He has had some flashes of good play play this preseason.  He still has work to do.  It would be nice to see him have a good game tonight to increase his confidence and to really get to see what he can provide for the Utah Jazz when the regular season begins.

Derrick Favors caught up with the media following shoot around today.  Here is that audio:
