The Utah Jazz Come up Short Against the Chicago Bulls

The Utah Jazz fall to the Chicago Bulls on Monday night 97-95 after trailing by as many as 21 points in the first half. Gordon Hayward’s last second 3-pointer comes up short at the buzzer capping his 2-11 shooting performance.

Trey Burke played an outstanding game once again as he finishes with 18 points and 10 assists on 8 of 14 shooting. He made great decisions and saw the floor well. He met with the media following the game. Here is that audio:

Derrick Favors led the Jazz in scoring on Monday finishing with 21 points. He recorded another double-double as he also grabbed 15 rebounds. Here is Derrick Favors with the media after the loss:

The Utah Jazz started off the game slow trailing by 16 points, 30-14 after the first quarter and 56-41 at the half. The Jazz were a completely different team in the second half as they won the 3rd quarter 36-22, trimming the deficit to 1 point. The Jazz at one point held a 4-point lead in the 4th quarter, but the Bulls proved too much for the Jazz as Chicago wins the game 97-95.

Enes Kanter also had a good night for the Jazz as he scores 19 points and grabs 8 rebounds. Joe Ingles had a nice game off the bench with 11 points. The Jazz will be off until Wednesday night when they will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road.
