The Utah Jazz (34-36) practiced today in Salt Lake City at Zion’s Bank Basketball Center before continuing their 5-game road trip on Wednesday as they will be in Houston tomorrow night at 6:00 PM to take on the Houston Rockets. The Houston Rockets (35-35) will face the Jazz on a back-to-back as they will be in action tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road. The Jazz are on the outside, looking in, of the playoff picture, as they are in 9th place right now in the Western Conference. They trail the Rockets as well as the Dallas Mavericks (35-35) by 1 game in the standings. They are only 1.5 games behind the Portland Trail Blazers (36-35) for the 6th spot in the West. These final 12 games will be critical for the Utah Jazz as they want to make the playoffs and get the highest seed they can get. Tomorrow night will be a big game for the Jazz in their hopes get from the outside of the playoff picture to become one of the teams on the right side of the conference standings.
