The Utah Jazz Hit the Road for 4 Games

The Utah Jazz travel to Southern California for 3 games and wrap up their 4-game road trip in Oklahoma City as their preseason schedule continues this weekend.  The Jazz will take on the Los Angeles Lakers Thursday night at 8:00 PM in Anaheim before taking on the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday and the Lakers again on Sunday at Staples Center.

This will be their first real significant road trip of the preseason.  It will be a great opportunity for the team to see how they can perform on the road.  Yes, it is preseason, but they’ll have a back-to-back, they’ll travel to a couple of different cities, and it will get the players a chance to interact with each other away from home.

The talk at practice the last couple of days has been about building chemistry.  The road is a great place for that.  it will be interesting to see how the team reacts when things don’t go as planned on the road.  Will they be able to pull out of a funk?  What will happen when they have a bad quarter?  The Jazz have had success so far as they are 3-0 during the preseason.  This will be a stretch where they play 4 games in 6 nights.  We’ll be able to see how well conditioned this team is.  The team seems to moving in the right direction through the first couple of weeks of the preseason.  Head Coach Quin Snyder continues to develop his system with the players.  They need to continue to learn what they are doing in practice and play well throughout the remainder of this preseason.

After practice today, the media was able to talk with Quin Snyder, Trey Burke, and Gordon Hayward.  The audio is available in the Interviews section of espn700sports.com.
