Roots & Rise Born on August 14, 1983, and raised in Lacey/Seattle, Washington, Nate Jackson discovered his comedic spark during college at Eastern Washington University, where he studied Organizational Communications. He began performing stand-up during his student years and quickly developed a passion that evolved into a full-time career. After building momentum in Hollywood, Nate returned to the Pacific Northwest to launch the Super Funny Comedy Show in 2010, laying the groundwork for a self-made rise in comedy. Comedy Credentials & Style Nate won the prestigious Bay Area Black Comedy Competition in 2010 and became known for his high-energy style and masterful crowd work. His stand-up blends sharp writing with fearless audience interaction, making every performance feel one-of-a-kind. Over the years, he’s entertained audiences across the U.S. through college tours, theater runs, and USO events. Screen Presence & Digital Fame Nate Jackson has made his mark on screen with recurring roles on NBC’s Young Rock (as “Junk Yard Dog”) and appearances on MTV’s Wild ’N Out, HBO All Def Comedy, BET Comic View, and Kevin Hart’s Hart of the City on Comedy Central. He’s also gained millions of followers across social media platforms, particularly TikTok, where his crowd work clips and comedic sketches have gone viral, earning hundreds of millions of views. Entrepreneurship & Reach In 2021, he opened the Super Funny Comedy Club in Tacoma, Washington—one of the few Black-owned comedy venues in the United States. The venue has earned praise from audiences and fellow comedians alike and has become a go-to stop for top-tier talent. Touring Success & Special Projects Nate is currently on his nationwide “Super Funny World Tour,” performing to sold-out crowds across the country. He’s also set to release his first-ever Netflix comedy special, Super Funny, on July 8, 2025—marking a major milestone in his already impressive career.
