ESPN 700 is pleased to welcome Simple Plan with Bowling For Soup and 3OH3 to The Plaza at America First Field August 16th 2025. Simple Plan is a Canadian pop punk band formed in 1999 in Montreal, Quebec. The band consists of Pierre Bouvier (vocals), Jeff Stinco (lead guitar), Sebastien Lefebvre (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), David Desrosiers (bass, backing vocals), and Chuck Comeau (drums). They gained popularity with their debut album No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls in 2002, which featured hit singles like "I'm Just a Kid" and "Perfect." Their sound is characterized by catchy melodies, energetic punk rock elements, and emotional lyrics often dealing with themes of youth, love, and personal struggles. Simple Plan has maintained a devoted fan base over the years and has released several successful albums, including Still Not Getting Any... (2004), Simple Plan (2008), Get Your Heart On! (2011), and Taking One for the Team (2016). While they are mainly known for their pop punk style, their music has evolved, incorporating elements of pop rock and alternative.
