Ultimate Combat Radio Show

ESPN 700 has a new radio show every Wednesday at 7 pm. Meet the hosts of Ultimate Combat Radio:

Widely regarded as the Godfather of MMA in Utah, Mike Stidham was a true pioneer of the sport. Mike was instrumental in getting the sport legalized, and helped shape the rules that regulate the sport today.

Having promoted a LIVE event every weekend for over 10 years, Mike also turned those events into 400+ episodes (Ultimate Combat Experience) that were broadcast on TV. Grappling Magazine recognized UCE as being the first organization to broadcast an MMA TV show on broadcast television, anywhere on the planet.

Mike has also owned and operated the Ultimate Combat Training Center in Salt Lake City, Utah for over 33 years. He is a lifetime Martial Artists, and at the age of 52, still competes actively in professional Muay Thai fights in Thailand.

Josh Burkman is an American Mixed martial Artist from Salt Lake City Utah with 48 professional fights, 19 in the UFC and multiple top 10 world rankings. He recently retired from MMA taking his knowledge into a Teaching roll at UCTC where he shared his knowledge of health and wellness, martial arts and the Mixed Movement Arts training known as Budokon.

Now with fighting behind him he looks to use the radio, and other outlets outside his teaching to share knowledge on all things martial arts and the connection to Mental, physical and spiritual well being that leads to a more individual, family, community and society.

He is a devoted father to his 2 little boys Legend, age 6, and Atlas, age 4.

Nick Stidham, aka Coach Monkey Boy, was raised in the ring and kept in a cage (an MMA cage of course). He’s been involved with Martial arts for the past 20 years, having competed in wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, and Muay Thai.

He’s still actively competing and helping others achieve their fight goals.  Loving life as an assistant coach for the Alta High wrestling program and the head coach for the Muay Thai program at Ultimate Combat Training Center, he’s surrounded by the best in the state no doubt, learning and growing from Martial artists of all styles!

We can’t wait for you to tune in starting June 12th!
