Salt Lake City Stars are back!

It’s been 681 days since the Salt Lake City Stars played a home game in the Bruins arena. Tonight they kicked off the 2021-22 season against the Santa Cruz Warriors.
A few early turnovers led to an 11 point deficit (50 – 61) at halftime. However, the Stars battled back, turning things around in the 3rd quarter. Jared Butler who led the Stars with 30 pts, hit the game winning shot and the final score was 104 – 102.
Guest appearances by Donovan Mitchell and Rolls of the Utah Jazz. Also in attendance was Thurl Bailey, to cheer on his son Brendon, who went 4 of 5 from 3 point range, had 3 rebounds and a 1 steal. Zaire Wade played 7 minutes and had 1 turnover in his debut. Elijah Hughes, MaCio Teague and Udoka Azubuike turned in solid performances. Stars win!
