The Utah Jazz announced their next round of workouts on Monday, highlighted by Villanova’s Eric Paschall, a 6’7, 254 lbs big man. Paschall’s stocky frame is deceiving on paper, as he’s extremely athletic, a strong leaper and ball handler, with the ability to switch multiple positions on defense.
Paschall would give the Jazz insurance if they were to move on from Derrick Favors, and made an encouraging 35% of his three’s over his final two seasons at Nova. The downside is Paschall is already 22, so his upside is more limited compared to his fellow hopeful draftee’s, but could be more ready to contribute day one.
