SALT LAKE CITY, UT – The Runnin’ Utes welcomed another division two opponent to the Jon M. Huntsman Center on Tuesday night after beating Northwest Nazarene on Saturday, the Utes turned their attention to Concordia, a GNAC school in Portland, Oregon. The Utes started the game much better at the beginning as far as taking care of the ball. Utah started the game off on the right foot and never looked back, picking up a 96-53 win and improving to 2-0 on the season. The Utes were able to get good contribution from players other than Lorenzo Bonam (17 points) and Kyle Kuzma (13 points, 8 rebounds), as they turned to four other players who scored in double figures including JC transfer JoJo Zamora with 14 points and four rebounds on 6-10 shooting from the field, SLCC transfer Tyler Rawson continues to impress with 12 points and seven rebounds on 5-10 shooting. Returning missionary and East High product Parker Van Dyke chipped in 15 points and five rebounds including three shots from downtown and the true freshman Devon Daniels with a 10 points and 9 rebounds. Utah shot 53.5% from the field and held Concordia to 31.9% shooting.
