NFL Combine Participants Announced

The participants for the 2017 NFL Combine were announced Wednesday morning, including eight players from the University of Utah and two from BYU.

The participants for the 2017 NFL Combine were announced Wednesday morning, including eight players from the University of Utah and two from BYU.  In all, 330 players from around the country will participate in the scouting event in an effort to carve out the beginnings of a professional career.

Utah tied USC for the Pac-12 Conference lead for players attending with eight. Those representing the Utes will be Brian Allen, Isaac Asiata, Garett Bolles (junior), J.J. Dielman, Pita Taumoepenu, Sam Tevi, Joe Williams, and Marcus Williams (junior). Defensive end Hunter Dimick was not invited to the Combine, but is expected to contend for a roster position on an NFL team.

Senior running back Jamaal Williams and defensive end Harvey Langi will be representing BYU at the event.

The NFL Combine will be held between Tuesday, February 28th – Monday, March 6th in Indianapolis, Indiana.
