Recent Retiree Nat Borchers Says He’s Most Grateful For RSL Teammates

Former Real Salt Lake fan favorite Nat Borchers announced his retirement on Friday, February 3rd from playing professional soccer. In his career, Borchers played for the Colorado Rapids (2003-2005), RSL (2008-2014), and the Portland Timbers (2015-2016).

He reflected on his career on Friday’s Bill Riley Show, and said of all his memories, his relationships with former Real Salt Lake teammates will be among the most treasured.

He also remembered the highlights of his career, including championships with RSL in 2009 and Portland in 2015.

Borchers will now pursue a career in broadcasting as the Timbers’ sideline analyst.
