All time favorite Utah and BYU football players by position

These lists have been very popular this week on twitter. Here is my list for Utah and BYU.

Eric Weddle played so many positions that he could have been listed elsewhere. Weddle is the greatest football player I’ve ever seen in person. Chris Kemoeatu is the meanest and toughest football player ever. Chris hurt people on a regular basis in games and even in practice. Brian Johnson is the smartest player I ever met playing football. Everyone loved him and to me he’s the number one QB ever at Utah. He and I were very close so I may be biased because he regularly touched my butt to take the snaps. King Louie Sakoda won us a ton of games. The dude was cold as ice and was a great teammate. Tom Hackett is the funniest punter I’ve ever known. I loved all the fat guy jokes he made as a player.

John Beck broke my heart in 2006 with his play to Johnny Harline but I always appreciated John’s professional attitude towards the game. The swag daddy was just an awesome dude and ran with so much speed and power. Dennis Pita played for Moorpark high school and we faced each other in the opening round of the CIF playoffs in 2003 as seniors. He destroyed our entire secondary and scored multiple touchdowns. My wife also grew up next door to him and she broke her arm rollerblading outside of his house. Jake Kuresa was so incredibly light on his feet for such a massive dude, he was always fun to watch. Bryan Kehl was the fastest linebacker I ever tried to hit. I never ended up hitting him though because he always ran around my blocks. I would like to think that I intimidated him into running away. I did not. Finally, my favorite kicker is my second cousin Kurt Gunther. Oh what a leg uncle Kurt had. I have no idea about punters at BYU so whoever is there right now is my favorite.
