BYU knocked off Wisconsin on Saturday, in what was the most surprising victory of the college football season so far. Usually, this early in the season we see upsets in college football, only to later learn that these teams may have been overrated going into the season (I’m looking at you Michigan and Notre Dame seemingly every season.)
However, regardless of Wisconsin’s future, BYU’s win was such a stark turnaround from what they showed last season, and more importantly, how they won their four games last season, it’s hard to argue with the success. BYU has simplified their game plan, and eliminated the weaknesses from the offense, and focused on toughening up their offensive line.
