Davir Hamilton will transfer away from the Utes

Davir Hamilton, the sophomore defensive end from Long Beach Poly HS, announced on twitter that he will leave the University of Utah. He was having problems breaking into the 2-deep for the Utes and I assume that lead at least in part to his decision to leave the University. Hamilton had offers to UCLA, ASU, Oregon state and Washington state coming out of high school. The move is a sign that Utah’s talent continues to grow on the defensive line. Hamilton is an amazing athlete and could fit in well at another University. He is free to transfer to any University that would want to sign the combo defensive end and linebacker.
