ESPN polled three NBA experts, Chris Herring, Bobby Marks, and Kevin Pelton on their top 25 players in the NBA under 25 years old. The good news for the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell makes the list as one of the younger players in the top 10.
Mitchell comes in at 7 on the composite list, at just 22.5 years old, with only the Dallas Mavericks Luka Doncic coming in above him (6) at a younger age.
The players coming in on the list ahead of Mitchell reveals the impressive company he is in.
- Giannis Antetokounmpo
- Joel Embiid
- Nikola Jokic
- Karl Anthony-Towns
- Ben Simmons
- Luka Doncic
- Donovan Mitchell
The one name here I’d really argue with is Karl Anthony-Towns who though showing somewhat prolific statistical output, has an uneven motor, and alongside Andrew Wiggins has underachieved with what should be a better Timberwolves roster.
Former Utes Kyle Kuzma comes in tied for 21 on the list. You can read the whole list at the link below.
