The Utah Jazz have acquired Kyle Korver according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The Jazz will reportedly send Alec Burks, and two second round picks to the Cleveland Cavaliers in return for the sharp shooter as the Cavs look to breakdown their roster post LeBron James.
Korver spent two and a half seasons with the Jazz between 2007 and 2010, and was a crowd favorite.
Korver is shooting 46% from the three point line this season, and is a career 43% three point shooter.
Burks was having a solid year for the Jazz averaging 8.4 points per game, shooting 41% from the floor and 37% from the three point line, but didn’t spread the floor like Korver will for the Jazz.
Burks was an expiring contract this season, while Korver is owed $7.5 million this year, and only $3.4 million of his deal is guaranteed next year.
