In the third string of All-Star voting, the Utah Jazz still don’t have any representation from the fans. If the Jazz are wanting to see an All-Star, it’ll have to come from the coaches vote as a reserve, but the numbers for those spots will be tight.
If the current All-Star voting were an accurate predictor of what the starting line ups will be, here’s what the West players will look like before the All-Star draft.
G: Stephen Curry
G: Derrick Rose
F: LeBron James
F: Luka Doncic
F: Paul George
Behind those five, on a 12 man roster, I believe these players would be shoe-ins before any Jazz players make the list.
6. James Harden
7. Paul George
8. Anthony Davis
9. Russell Westbrook
10. Nikola Jokic
That would leave two open spots for these remaining players: Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell, Jamal Murray, Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard, DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge, Tobias Harris, Steven Adams and Karl Anthony-Towns.
If the Jazz continue to climb the standings, it’s possible one of the Jazz two stars could be competing on Sunday night at All-Star weekend, but right now, the numbers aren’t looking good.
