Jazz need to guard better

Jazz head coach preaches defense after fourth loss in a row.

In the first half, Toronto shot a blistering 63% (26-41) from the field and 47% (8-17) from three. The Raptors led 65-54 at the break. The Jazz couldn’t climb out of the hole and dropped to 0-4 at home with the 124-111 defeat.

The Raptors were on their fifth game in eight days, an ESPN schedule alert matchup.

The Jazz’s defensive rating over the three leading up to Monday’s home loss was 118. According to Quin Snyder, the common theme is Utah needs to guard better.

The Dallas Mavericks, a middle of the pack offensive team at 18th in the league, comes to Vivint Smart Home Arena Wednesday.
