Mitchell, Kuzma make All-Rookie first team

The NBA released the All-Rookie team, and two familiar names to Utah made the league’s first team. Donovan Mitchell was a unanimous selection, picking up 50 first place votes, totaling 100 points.

Former Ute Kyle Kuzma received 93 points for his performance with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 27th overall selection was the only non-lottery pick to be chosen for the rookie first team.

The rest of the first team was filled out by the Philadelphia 76ers’ Ben Simmons, the Boson Celtics’ Jayson Tatum, and the Chicago Bulls Lauri Markkanen.
