NFL Draft Profile: S Terrell Burgess, Utah Utes – LA Rams

TERRELL BURGESS, S – UTAH: 3rd RD, 104th pick, LA RAMS

A “late bloomer” during his time with the Utes, Burgess waited his turn behind the likes of Marcus Williams, Marquise Blair and Corrion Ballard. He certainly made his one year as a starter count, earning All-Pac-12(honorable mention) honors as a senior. Despite just one season as a starter, Burgess possesses uncommon versatility and discipline. His ability to move around the  backfield makes him an intriguing prospect for defenses that like to switch up packages. A Swiss Army Knife, if you will. Burgess is lauded for his preparation and cerebral approach to the game, but even that can’t overshadow his stellar physical showcase at the Combine.
