First championship game appearance is in sight.
Utah’s 41-28 victory against USC is one they needed to get. The Pac-12 South division is parity on full display. The Utes will head to the league’s championship game at Levi’s Stadium on November 30 if they win out.
- @ UCLA on October 26 (Beat Arizona 31-30)
- @ Arizona State on November 3 (Lost to Stanford 20-13)
- vs. Oregon on November 10 (Lost at Washington State 34-20)
- @ Colorado on November 17 (Lost at Washington 27-13)
Utah would finish with a 7-2 Pac-12 record with the tiebreaker over USC.
The Men of Troy finish the conference slate with home matchups against ASU and Cal, plus roadies with Oregon State and UCLA. A USC loss gives the Utes the cushion to lose a game against anyone not named Colorado.
The Buffs host Oregon State, Washington State, and Utah with a trip to Tucson against Arizona. Clearly, the finale on November 17 determines the South’s champion.
Do you remember September? What a turnaround.
