Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic join 50-win team.
In: Bojan Bogdanovic, Mike Conley, and Ed Davis. Out: Ricky Rubio and Derrick Favors.
Did the Utah Jazz win the offseason? *Grabs ear* I’m getting word, the Brooklyn Nets signed Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Okay, so did they win the offseason non Nets division? Commentators tab the club as a Western Conference contenders.
I love the Jazz.

Bojan Bogdanovic to Utah is a tremendous move for the Jazz. Utah adding Bogdanovic and Mike Conley to its mix alongside Donovan Mitchell, Joe Ingles and Rudy Gobert should eliminate any of the previous issues Utah has had in the playoffs with a lack of offense.

The Conley trade materialized once the Memphis Grizzlies won the third pick in the draft. Ja Morant and a new front office made the veteran point guard expendable.
Bogdonovic’s pursuit turned hot once Nikola Mirotic decided to jet to Europe. The Jazz were preparing an aggressive offer to the former Milwaukee Buck.
Once Nikola Mirotic made a surprising decision to return to Europe, new Jazz GM Justin Zanik pivoted and made a strong push to sign Bogdanovic out of Indiana. In his first few months as GM, Zanik has landed Mike Conley and Bogdanovic. Jazz are a legitimate Western contender now.

Bogdonovic’s signing and Conley’s trade leaves Derrick Favors and Ricky Rubio on the way out. Favors’s team option for nearly $17 million will not be picked up. Rubio inked a deal with the Phoenix Suns.
Free agent Ricky Rubio agreed three-year, $51 million deal with the Phoenix Suns, agent Jeff Schwartz of Excel Sports Management says.

With a hole at backup center, Justin Zanik and Dennis Lindsey opted for Ed Davis.
Ed Davis is a good basketball player and does good things to help your team win the basketball games. https://t.co/rGjXt5mf3X
