Real Salt Lake announced on Wednesday that they have signed defender Shawn Barry. The American 27-year-old has played in Germany, Austria, and Poland. Barry played two seasons at the University of Virginia before signing for LASK Linz in 2010, where he played in 86 matches in 5 seasons and scored eight goals. In 2015 he moved to FSV Frankfurt in Germany’s second division, where he made 56 appearances and scored two goals before moving to Korono Kielce in Poland in the summer of 2017.
