Salt Lake Bees Hold Media Day

The 2016 edition of the Salt Lake Bees held their media day today at Smith’s Ballpark in Salt Lake City.  The Bees open up the season on Thursday at 6:35 as they take on Sacramento River Cats in game 1 of their 4-game series.  The Bees will ok to bounce back from their disappointing 58-86 season.  Keith Johnson returns as manager for this year’s squad.  This year’s roster includes a total of over 1,700 games played in Major League Baseball included 3 players who have 3 World Series rings.  The Bees will look to be more successful this season as well as help their parent club, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, be better as well as they develop the talent on the roster.

Salt Lake Bees IF Kyle Kubitza is returning to the club after hitting .271 in 117 games with the Bees last year.  He also hit 7 homeruns and drove in 50 last season.  Kubitza appeared in 19 games with the Angels last year where he drove in 1 run while hitting .194.  Here he is with the media at Media Day:
