Braeden Daniels left tackle-The true freshman is getting a ton of reps with the second offensive unit so far in fall camp. He’s still a little undersized but he has quick feet and may be the first offensive tackle off the bench if the Utes need some depth.
-
Derrick Vickers WR- The JC receiver is already getting reps with the first offensive unit. The Utes also handed him the ball in the backfield and let him run around the formation on a sweep play yesterday at fall camp.
-
Malone Mataele DB- The freshman corner played safety in spring but made the move to nickle this fall. He has been making plays all over the field so far and may be a guy to keep an eye out for in the future.
-
Britain Covey WR- The true sophomore is back off a mission and is as fast as he ever was. He made several grabs yesterday. His skills will allow him to get open several times a week. I bet Covey grabs more than 50 passes.
Surprises of fall camp for the Utes
