Utah football is looking for a ninth offensive play-caller in eleven years. Troy Taylor will be the head coach at Sacramento State. The news was first reported by Football Scoop, and confirmed today by the Hornets.

“From my understanding they put together a very attractive long-term contract in demonstrating how much they wanted him,” Kyle Whittingham said after practice on Monday. “It’s a chance for him to be a head coach.”
It is to-be-determined if Taylor will coach in Utah’s bowl game. Whittingham announced offensive line coach Jim Harding will serve as the interim offensive coordinator.
