Utah football fall camp recap 8/8/18

Utah football practiced in full pads again today and there were a lot of big plays made by both sides of the ball. We also saw more work between the starting offense and defense today. mostly 1’s vs 1’s from what we were able to view during media observation.

Tyler Huntley had a clean day throwing the football. He’s bigger faster and stronger than a year ago.

Siaosi Mariner made several nice catches against the first team defense today.

Britain Covey is ALWAYS open. He has all the tools to lead Utah in catches this year.

Solomon Enis also made several impressive grabs running with the number 2 offense.

Jack Tuttle threw an interception towards the end of practice and didn’t have the cleanest day with the number 2 offensive unit.

Bryant Pirtle saw his first full padded action with the number 2 defensive unit and made several tackles. He’s instinctual and fast.

Orlando Umana saw reps at left guard with the first team offense and looked the part.
