2024, 4-star QB Isaac Wilson announced his commitment to the University of Utah via an Instagram live video Wednesday night. The Corner Canyon QB chose the Utes over BYU, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Arizona State and UCLA. Wilson garnered a lot of attention in his recruiting process. Taking visits to top schools around the nation and receiving offers from a bevy of blue blood programs.
Wilson announced his commitment to Utah in front of a host of people gathered at the Wilson family residence in Draper. After giving a short speech thanking everyone who had got him to that point, Wilson walked behind a rock wall and later emerged shirtless sporting a University of Utah hat. He promptly announced that he was committed to play for the Utes and followed his remarks with a front flip off the rock wall into the family’s pool.
I’m committing to Utah!!! Thanks to everyone that has helped me through this process. #goutes pic.twitter.com/jvE0sYYkQA

Wilson will follow in his father Mike Wilson’s footsteps. Mike, a former defensive lineman for the Utes, was on the roster on the hill for the 1993-1994 seasons. Wilson will be a huge addition for Kyle Whittingham and a shift of recent loyalties from the Wilson family with Isaac’s older brothers all deciding to attend BYU out of high school.
Wilson will finish out his high school career at Corner Canyon high school before joining the Utah roster for the 2024 season.
