Utah Men’s Basketball Releases its’ 2018-19 Schedule

Every year it seems to take just a little bit longer to get a finalize basketball schedule from the Pac 12 Conference, blame TV for that. In any case, on Thursday morning the Pac 12 and University of  Utah released it’s final schedule for the 2018-19 Men’s Basketball Season. The full schedule is below.

A few notes on this year’s slate for the Utes..

1. Larry Krystkowiak said that he wanted to upgrade the non-conference schedule and he did with games against Minnesota, Kentucky, Tulsa, Hawaii, Seton Hall and Nevada. Kentucky and Nevada will both be Preseason Top 7 teams.

2. The Pac 12 Schedule looks much more manageable this year with fewer Sunday/Wednesday or Thursday turnarounds. Utah will play 6 Thursday/Saturday Pac 12 Series and 2 Wednesday/Saturday Pac 12 Series.

3. Utah has just 1 Sunday game this season in League Play, that will be at the Huntsman Center on January 20th against Colorado.

4. Utah will not travel to play at the Oregon Schools this season and the Bay Area Schools will not travel to Salt Lake City to play.

5. 14 of Utah’s 31 regular season games will be televised on the Pac 12 Network. The Minnesota game will be on the Big Ten Network and the rest of the games divided up among Fox and ESPN properties.
