The University of Utah climbed two spots in the latest College Football Playoff Rankings, now finding themselves at number 17, up from 19 last week. The Utes beat Colorado 30-7 in Boulder on Saturday, and clinched the PAC-12 South Title with Arizona State’s loss to Oregon.
The Utes are the third highest ranked team in the PAC-12, behind both Washington (16) and Washington State (8), who play one another this weekend in the Apple Cup to decide who will make the PAC-12 championship out of the North.
Utah State moved up from 23 to 21, and will face off against the now 23rd ranked Boise State Broncos to determine who will host the Mountain West Conference Title next weekend.
