The Utah Jazz continue to be led by Gordon Hayward who is averaging 19.6 points per game. Rudy Gobert is playing outstanding as of late, averaging 7.5 points per game, a team-leading 8.6 rebounds per game, as well as a team-high 2.3 blocks per game. Derrick Favors chips in 16.4 points per game and 8.2 rebounds a game. The Jazz are 2nd in the NBA in scoring defense as they are only allowing 95.6 points per game.

The Hornets are holding onto the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference. They are one-half game behind Indiana for 7th and one-half game ahead of both Miami and Boston. Charlotte has won 18 of their last 22 games when scoring at least 96 points, but they’re 5-25 when they don’t.

In other Jazz news, the team announced today that they have signed guard Bryce Cotton to a multi-year contract. Cotton has appeared in 3 games since signing his first 10-day contract on February 24. They have also signed forward Jack Cooley of the Idaho Stampede to a second 10-day contract. He signed his first 10-day on February 24.
