The Utah Jazz fell to the Kings in their first game of the season, also the first home game in which the arena was named the Delta Center since 2006. Veteran guard Jordan Clarkson had a team high 21 points, 15 in the 2nd half. All Star and last year’s leading scorer Lauri Markkanen finished with a 19 point 10 rebound double double in the loss despite a tough shooting night. But they struggled with the Kings relentless pace and transition attack.
