The Utah Jazz fall 95-86 in their opening game of the 2023 Summer League season at the newly renamed Delta Center in downtown Salt Lake City. Rookie 16th overall pick Keyonte George led the team with 18 points and added 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals in his NBA debut. It was also a debut for another notable rookie, the Thunder’s Chet Holmgren who was taken 2nd overall in the 2022 NBA Draft and missed the entire 22-23 season had 15 points 9 rebounds and 4 blocks in the win.
