The Utah Jazz got their 4th win of the season, their 2nd at home beating one of the Eastern Conference title favorites by 15 in Saturday matinee at the Delta Center. Lauri Markkanen had a game high 34 points along with 9 rebounds to lead the Jazz who also got a boost from Walker Kessler’s return from injury. Kessler made his presence felt with 11 points 10 rebounds and 3 blocks. Head Coach Will Hardy complimented him on his play as the “roll” guy in pick ‘n roll situations. The attention he attracted as a roller gave Utah a number of open 3 point opportunities in the corners. Will Hardy, Lauri Markkanen, and Walker Kessler spoke to the media after the victory
