Utah Jazz and Chicago Bulls Square Off Tonight

The Utah Jazz (7-5) take on the Chicago Bulls (7-4) tonight at Vivint Smart Home Arena at 8:30.  The game will be televised nationally on TNT.  The Jazz will be without Derrick Favors (left knee bone contusion), George Hill (sprained right thumb), and Alec Burks (left ankle rehab).  Fred Hoiberg of the Chicago Bulls says Rajon Rondo is doubtful for tonight’s game due to a left ankle sprain.  Jerian Grant will start if Rajon Rondo doesn’t play against the Jazz.  Doug McDermott is out as he is recovering from a concussion.

This will be another tough test for the Utah Jazz as they will be tested defensively again tonight.  They will need to have a better start today tghey they did on Monday against the Memphis Grizzlies.  They can’t let the Bulls jump out to a big early lead.  One of the big keys will be the Jazz getting to the defensive boards as the Bulls are one of the top teams in the NBA in getting offensive rebounds.  Here is the audio of Utah Jazz Head Coach Quin Snyder following shoot around this morning:

Shelvin Mack will continue to get more playing time tonight, along with Dante Exum, as George Hill will miss his 6th straight game.  Here is Shelvin Mack with the media following shoot around:

Gordon Hayward has played well since returning from injury.  He is averaging 22.5 points per game and will once again need to step up big against the Bulls.  Here he is with the media after shoot around:
