Utah Jazz Fall To The Detroit Pistons 95-92

The Utah Jazz (19-25) suffer a tough loss to the Detroit Pistons (24-21) at Vivint Smart Home  Arena Monday night as they fail to hit a 3-point shot at the end of the game to tie up the game.  Derrick Favors made his return from injury as he plays just over 19 minutes of the bench.  He finishes the night with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist.  After the game he talked with the media:

It was good to see Derrick Favors on the court again.  His return will only make the Jazz a better team.  Rudy Gobert had an outstanding night as he scores 17 points and grabs 17 rebounds.  Rodney Hood led all Jazz scorers with 23 points.  He scored the first 11 points in the 4th quarter for the Jazz.  Gordon Hayward struggled from the floor as he shot 7-23 for the night.  He did, however, finish with 22 points.  He talked with the media after the loss.  Here is that audio:

Raul Neto of the Utah Jazz left in the first quarter with what has been determined to be a concussion and did not return.  Neto will now begin the NBA-mandated protocol for return-to-participation following the diagnosed concussion.  His status moving forward is day-to-day.  The Jazz have 5 more games left on this home stand.  Next up on Wednesday night will be the Charlotte Hornets.  Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM.

Utah Jazz Head Coach Quin Snyder addressed the media after the game.  Here is that audio:
