The Utah Jazz (16-29) returned to practice today following Monday night’s loss to the Boston Celtics. The Jazz will take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night at EnergySolutions Arena. Tip-off will be at 7:00 PM. This will be the 4th meeting of the season between the Clippers and Jazz with the Clippers winning the first 3 match-ups.
This will be another tough challenge for the Jazz as the Clippers are averaging 107.3 points per game. They are also 3rd in the league averaging 25.1 assists per game. The Jazz are only averaging 95.7 points per game. The Clippers (31-14) come into Salt Lake after winning 5 in a row with their most recent defeat of the Denver Nuggets on Monday, 102-98. The Jazz will have to execute on offense and start out the game better on Wednesday if they want to have any kind of a chance to get by the Clippers.
The second 10-day contract for guard Elliott Williams has expired without the Jazz re-signing him. The roster for the Utah Jazz now stands at 14 players.
