Coming off of the first loss of the season on the road, the Utah Jazz headed back to its home arena to face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, Oct. 21 and by the final buzzer, the Jazz walked away with a 96-87 victory.

The Thunder got the first lead of the game, but the Jazz tied up the score pretty quick early in the first quarter. The two teams went back and forth, both holding the lead for some time, but neither team was able to break away and keep a substantial lead and going into the second quarter, the Jazz held a 21-14 lead over the Thunder.

With a lead going into the next quarter, the Jazz capitalized on the opportunity and managed to put up some more points, extending their lead by a small margin. As the Jazz kept a lead over their opponent, the Thunder scored a buzzer-beat shot going into halftime, but the Jazz still kept Oklahoma trailing 44-34.

The Third and fourth quarters of the matchup between the Jazz and the Thunder pretty stayed consistent — each team putting points up for their teams — but the Jazz continued to keep the Thunder at bay, and by the end of the game, the Jazz took home the win.

Up next for the Jazz, they will head to Los Angeles to face the Clippers on Tuesday, Oct. 24 in the staple Center. Tipoff is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. PT.
