Johnson cemented his commitment again on Twitter, garnering a lot of positive feedback from Ute fans.
Jaylon Johnson, a 4-star cornerback ranked #6 nationally by Scout.com and Utah commit, had opportunities to go to bigger name schools with offers from virtually everywhere, including USC, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and others. He likely was attracted to Utah in part because the Utes are graduating three key seniors at CB and will see immediate playing time, in combination with Utah’s success putting CBs in the NFL.
But on Wednesday, Johnson cemented his commitment again on Twitter, garnering positive feedback from Ute fans.

The quoted tweet, from 4-star WR prospect Tyjon Lindsey, states “Nothing’s ever about the name of the school or the ranking of the team. It’s about where your heart is so you can be happy when you prosper.” Lindsey de-committed from Ohio State on Tuesday, and has offers from several power schools, including Utah.
