ESPN College Gameday announced on Saturday night that Salt Lake City and the University of Utah would again host the nationally popular talk show in advance of Utah’s matchup with the Washington Huskies.
Utah hosted Gameday once last season, when the #5 Utes hosted #23 Cal and Jared Goff. The Utes won that game, 30-24. This will be the fifth time Utah has been featured in the College Gameday set, and fourth that the Utes have hosted. Utah is 2-2 in those games, beating BYU in 2004, losing to TCU in 2009 (Ft. Worth, TX), losing to TCU in 2010 (SLC), and beating Cal in 2015.
The Utes won at UCLA on Saturday afternoon, 52-45, keeping them alongside Colorado atop the Pac-12 South with a 7-1 (4-1 Pac-12) record. Washington beat Oregon State 41-17 to stay undefeated and atop the Pac-12 North.
