The 2018 Pac-12 Media Poll is out
The Pac-12 Media Poll for the 2018 football season was released early Wednesday morning, and here is the media’s order of finish for the Conference of Champions.
Pac-12 North
- Washington
- Stanford
- Oregon
- Cal
- Washington State
- Oregon State
Pac-12 South
- USC
- Utah
- Arizona
- UCLA
- Colorado
- Arizona State
Washington received 37 votes to win the Pac-12 Conference. Other teams receiving votes to win the conference outright: USC 2, Oregon 1, Stanford 1, UCLA 1.
Not much of a surprise to see this as the projected order of finish. Despite USC’s questions or inexperience at quarterback, the Trojans perception is still greater than Utah’s.
This is the second consecutive year that Utah has been picked to finish 2nd in the Pac-12 South division.
Since the Pac-12 conference created divisions in 2011, the media has had at least one division champion correct every season except one year and that was 2013 where Oregon and UCLA were projected to win their respective division, but it ultimately ended up being Stanford vs. Arizona State.
Coverage of Pac-12 Media Days here on ESPN 700 begins at 9 am (MDT) and will go for 7-plus hours. Bill Riley, Kyle Gunther, Ben Anderson, and JP Chunga are all in Hollywood ready to talk Pac-12 football.
