Utah And BYU Extend Football Series

Utah and BYU announced Thursday morning that the two schools have extended their agreement to play on an annual home-and-home basis through 2022.

Utah and BYU announced Thursday morning that the two schools have extended their agreement to play on an annual home-and-home basis through 2022.  The schools were already agreed through 2022.

“This game has a great deal of interest throughout the state and both schools worked hard to find dates in 2021 and 2022, even as long-term scheduling has become very difficult,” said Utah Director of Athletics Dr. Chris Hill in a prepared statement.

Aug. 29, 30 or 31, 2019, Provo

Sept. 3, 4 or 5, 2020, Salt Lake City

Sept. 11, 2021, Provo

Sept. 3, 2022, Salt Lake City
Utah has beaten BYU in the previous six matchups, including the third game of 2016, which Utah won, 20-19, at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
