NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah and Lance Zierlein report weekly on opinions from different NFL scouts and executives about the top college football players in the country. On Wednesday’s page, Utah was shown some love from an anonymous AFC personnel executive.
From NFL.com:
“‘The Utah offensive tackle is the best in the country and it’s not really close. I was surprised by how much NFL talent they have on their roster. The safety is a day one starter at the next level.’ — AFC personnel executive on Utah OT Garett Bolles and S Marcus Williams”
Bolles transferred in to Utah as one of the most highly-touted junior college players, and arguably the most sought-after offensive lineman. The Lehi, Utah native is in large part responsible for the surge of the Utes’ running game, leading Joe Williams down the field, smothering opposing linemen and linebackers. Williams was a 2015 first-team All-Pac-12 free safety, and currently totals four receptions this season.
