Both Gach to transfer back to the University of Utah

Both Gach is returning to the University of Utah after spending a transfer season with his hometown Minnesota Golden Gophers, per his twitter page. Gach spent his first two seasons with the Utes, starting sporadically.

Gach joins a new staff at Utah after playing for Larry Krystkowiak in his first stint in SLC. The Utes newest head coach, Craig Smith, tried to court Gach to Logan when the guard entered the transfer portal a year ago. Each being Minnesota natives, Smith and Gach had a prior recruiting relationship. Gach has two years of eligibility remaining heading into tip-off of 2021.
